Inspired by the book The Secret Life of Bees,
this quilt depicts a cropped view of a honeycomb.
Constructed with silks and cottons, it was then
screenprinted.
Love your honeycomb and bees. Nice crisp design. It reminds me of some work I saw in Fiberarts awhile back using prints of insects arranged in precise geometric patterns. Very intriguing!

Nicely done and well executed. Very imaginative use for the fabric. The book was good too!
